The brain constantly tries to recognise something in images it receives. This print was taken while cleaning a litho stone. Minimal elements - the eye, line of the beak and top of the right wing - were added to the print by hand to confirm what I saw in it. It's still a mess of ink but there's also a defiant bird rising out of it.
